What does the energy coach say, aka me:
While I am a strong believer that there is always room for improvement, I am also a strong believer, that you don't have to improve everything.
You see, we are creators, professionals, solopreneurs. No matter the title - we have endless todo lists.
And adding another thing on top of it, just for the sake of it getting a little better? No, I am going to talk you out of it.
We are here to live our best lives, not our best performing lives.
But if you are a go-go-go person, who cannot stop once going, and by this you deprive your normal (questionable) 8 hours of sleep, ask yourself these questions:
- Do YOU feel like you are performing below usual on the following days after an overnighter?
- How do you feel a day or two after that?
If you are feeling down after an all-nighter or the following days, then you can definitely make some easy improvements that will sustain your productivity.
I am myself a hyped person, and once I get going I cannot stop :)
And I don't stop myself there. I go on, if that produces results and makes me happy.
What I do afterwards - I get into active recovery, paying more attention to what my body, mind and soul needs.
Because even if I don't feel like I am down, I know it will catch up with me when I least expect it.
Moreover, being naturally a very energetic person that starts and doesn't stop, I learned so much from making myself still. Physically, mentally, emotionally.
That's when I really discovered my real productivity :)
So maybe this is also a path for your to explore.

Olena
